Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage disorders affecting the nervous system, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies. This role offers opportunities for both general neurology and subspecialty practice, depending on expertise and interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with neurological disorders through clinical exams and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
- Provide stroke care, including acute interventions and long-term management
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Maintain detailed medical records and adhere to hospital and medical board guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Valid state medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neurocritical Care)
- Experience in a hospital, academic, or outpatient neurology setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
