Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care for complex hematology and oncology disorders.
  • Lead inpatient consult services and outpatient care sessions in the sub-specialty clinic.
  • Supervise and educate medical trainees in both formal and informal settings.
  • Support the CCH network through direct care, traditional consultations, and electronic consultations.
  • Adhere to best practices in infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Licensure: Active Illinois Medical License (or eligible to obtain prior to start).
  • Credentials: Valid Illinois Controlled Substance and Federal DEA licenses.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with patients from diverse socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
