Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 Base + Performance Bonus
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Opportunity – North Port, FL
A busy, established value-based care / internal medicine practice in North Port, Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its outpatient team.
This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to an adult population, with an emphasis on chronic disease management, preventive care, and managed care models.
Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide preventive care and patient education
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate documentation (EMR/EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Preferred Experience
- Primary care or internal medicine experience
- Managed care / Medicare Advantage experience
- Familiarity with coding and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant certification
- Active Florida NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
Additional Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- EMR/EHR experience preferred
