PRIMARY CARE / MANAGED CARE PHYSICIAN — THE VILLAGES, FL

Overview

We are actively recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care / Managed Care Physician to join our established practice in The Villages, FL — one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing retirement communities in the United States.

POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 12–16 patients per day (adult patients only)
• Setting: Outpatient primary care / managed care clinic
• Location: The Villages, Florida
• No evenings, no weekends, no on-call requirements

ABOUT THE ROLE You will deliver comprehensive, high-quality medical care to an engaged adult patient population, working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive, experienced healthcare team — all in a rewarding, predictable outpatient setting with no hospital obligations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients
• Manage chronic conditions, acute illness, preventive care, and wellness visits
• Collaborate with care coordinators, specialists, and ancillary staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in quality improvement and managed care initiatives

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: $240,000 – $300,000 annually, based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Active Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• DEA registration
• Experience with managed care / Medicare Advantage preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
