Key Responsibilities
As a General Surgeon in St. Petersburg, you will:
  • Perform a high volume of general surgery cases with an emphasis on Laparoscopic and Robotic-Assisted techniques.
  • Manage complex surgical cases within a comprehensive emergency and diagnostic environment.
  • Lead the expansion of the surgical practice in a rapidly growing community.
  • Precept and evaluate residents, contributing to the hospital’s mission of medical education.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in General Surgery.
  • License: Must be able to obtain an active Florida Medical License prior to start.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in Robotics and a preference for academic/teaching environments.
