Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician – Primary Care (Outpatient)

Overview

• Patient Care: Conduct thorough physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients.
• Chronic Disease Management: Manage complex chronic conditions and provide education on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Diagnostics: Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate documentation including ICD-10 coding (Updated from ICD-9 for current standards).
• Collaborative Care: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Specialized Support: Provide care in areas such as dementia and geriatric care as needed within the scope of internal medicine.
• Documentation: Maintain precise patient records in compliance with Florida healthcare regulations using our EMR/EHR system. 

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License (MD or DO).
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Skills: Proficiency in physical assessments and managing multi-morbidity adult populations. Strong communication skills for effective patient education.
• Preference: Experience with Managed Care and Value-Based Care models is a significant plus.
