Medical Director or Staff Psychiatrist | Inpatient Psychiatry | Leadership Opportunity
An established behavioral health hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its inpatient behavioral health team. Opportunities are available for both a Medical Director/Clinical Psychiatrist and a Staff Psychiatrist.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative inpatient setting while enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule, manageable patient volume, strong administrative support, and an outstanding compensation package.
Position Highlights

- Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Monday–Friday Schedule
- Medical Director Position – No Call Requirement
- Staff Psychiatrist – One Weekend Call Per Month
- Average Daily Caseload: 16 Patients
- Leadership & Clinical Responsibilities
- Supervision of APRNs
- Collaborative Multidisciplinary Treatment Team
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and new patient admissions.
- Manage medication treatment and follow-up care.
- Perform discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).
- Medical Director candidates will provide additional clinical leadership and program oversight.

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Eligible for Kentucky Medical License
- Leadership experience preferred for Medical Director applicants
