Adult Psychiatrist Medical Director Opportunity in Ambler, PA
A behavioral health clinic in southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for its adult inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
This is a full-time, on-site clinical leadership opportunity for a psychiatrist who enjoys combining direct patient care with medical leadership and PMHNP supervision.

Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership for the adult inpatient and partial hospitalization programs while maintaining a manageable patient caseload.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients
- Provide clinical leadership for inpatient and PHP services
- Supervise and collaborate with PMHNPs
- Participate in treatment planning and medication management
- Support quality patient care and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the treatment team
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Adult Psychiatry experience
- Experience with inpatient psychiatry and/or PHP preferred
- Eligible for or active Pennsylvania medical license
- Leadership or medical director experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills
